Job Description

The Recruiting Specialist role with The Fresh Market is a full-time, salaried non-exempt position that is responsible for a wide variety of tasks that support Field Talent Acquisition (“TA”). This position has accountability for the technical and administrative support to the TA function that assists in meeting critical field hiring targets.

This position reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Manages iCIMS ATS and other recruiting software
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Maintains career site in collaboration with Director, Talent Acquisition and TFM Marketing partners
  • Assists Director, Talent Acquisition in managing vendor partnerships (recruitment sources, background investigations, etc.)
  • Completes special projects as assigned (i.e. social media related projects)
  • Conducts market research for events that will support meeting hiring needs (i.e. career events, community organizations, college networks, etc.)
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition team with advertising and promoting hiring initiatives
  • Creates and maintains stock of company collateral material that supports TA initiatives
  • Partners with vendors to answer questions related to recruiting resources (i.e. Career Builder, Indeed, LinkedIn), system access, etc.
  • Handles internal recruiting department updates and messaging on our internal site
  • On occasion, supports Regional Talent Manager by providing occasional back-up support with posting, sourcing and scheduling for critical need positions
  • Assists with resolving system access issues for candidates and store leaders
  • Participates and contribute to continuous process improvement strategies
  • Publish daily organic content on social media channels.
  • Assist in producing digital content to be used in social.
  • Monitor social trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of Recruiting/HR related experience
  • Relevant experience with tools and systems such as: Kronos, PowerBI, SAP SuccessFactors, Talent Reef, iCIMS, Taleo, Peoplesoft, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel with the ability to create pivot tables, formulas, etc.
  • Experience managing Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts
  • Previous experience with applicant tracking systems
