Job Description

The primary focus of the HR Systems and Project Manager is to manage of HR processes, systems, including system integrations, and HR project initiatives. This position serves as the project point of contact for assigned functional areas within Human Resources and assists subject matter experts (recruiting, benefits, development, talent, compensation, performance management) to manage projects ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Develop project plans collaboratively with strategic team members
  • Ensure project milestone achievement within promised timelines and established project budgets
  • Ensure quality control of deliverables
  • Perform as lead of HR project teams
  • Use project management skills and serve as overall project manager for HR initiatives related to initiatives (recruiting, HRM, benefits, learning, talent, projects, compensation, performance management)

Systems:

  • Researches current and future capabilities of HR systems to understand how TFM can best utilize the existing and future functionality
  • Plans and executes the integration and conversion activities of the new capabilities or systems through project management
  • Recommend process/service improvements and innovation solutions to streamline processes
  • Produce high quality documentation, including business requirements, procedures, operational and process flow documents
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HCM upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate in planning, design, development and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
  • Recommend solutions and alternate methods to meet requirements

Operational:

  • Ensures that systems and processes are in place to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local employment laws and regulations
  • Working collaborative with strategic partners perform operational performance reviews of processes to remove redundancy and maximize efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Appropriately analyze business processes to ensure global consistency and simplicity
  • Map business requirements into HRIS and perform fit gap analysis
  • Manages all HR reporting requirements and analytics to ensure data is easy to access and drives improved performance of key HR metrics
  • Working with internal system experts and strategic partners, develop dashboards and reports for store operational leaders
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports and adhoc data requests using TFM systems

Preferred skills/qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification
  • SHRM Certification preferred
  • 3-5 years project and/or system management experience
  • Collaboration: Works collaboratively with others to achieve group goals and objectives. •
  • Communication: Giving and receiving messages and information in written, oral, and visual formats in a clear and concise way for a complete understanding of meaning and intent.
